  • Food was delicious, and the tea wasn't bitter - I didn't even need to add sugar to the unsweetened tea I ordered. But many of the tables had resident flies. It's coming into summer so that might not be a concern if you visit during cold weather.

  • We've been eating here since they opened. The food is always delicious. And the waitstaff are Great! The prices have continued to increase while the portion sizes have decreased. We have been ordering one of their new menu items Country Fried brisket and love it. Today we ordered the same. It came out as 1 large slice. This plate cost 13.99. We inquired with the waitress asking if it changed because it normally has 2 or 3 pieces. We were told that is how it comes now. I'm going to hesitate to come back. Adding breakfast and mimosas are not enough to bring me back to overpay.

  • Great place! We had a large party and they handled it with ease. Our server was great and didn't miss anything we asked for (even the extras were delivered). The pulled pork was moist and delicious without the BBQ sauce. They even do breakfast and have a drive thru!

  • The brisket and ribs were good. The service was good. The rest was poor. The sweet potatoes fries were cold and raw. The po boy bun was straight out of package, cold n dry. The roll was cold n hard. Deffinetly NOT what I expected from the good reviews.

  • Good, solid barbecue. Had the ribs, smoked sausage, mac and cheese and spicy fried green beans. The latter and all the sides are really outstanding. The ribs are St. Louis style, and the sauces they have are really yummy, especially the smokey. The brisket was the only disappointing part. We got it sliced and it was a bit dry. The service is attentive and friendly, the place is homey and welcoming.

  • Road tripping and stopped here for lunch. Wow! Do yourself a favor and eat here. I had the rib plate (smallest is 6 ribs), green beans, and apple cider cole slaw. I have plenty leftover for another meal. Everything was delicious, and I am no stranger to good bbq. The mild sauce was really good, not super sweet. Waitress was a sweetie too. Will return again if in the area.

  • We visited this place on a recommendation from the front desk clerk at the Best Western we're staying at up the street. We were beyond impressed by the friendliness of the staff, the taste of the food and the portion sizes. The ribs were fall of the bone tender, the catfish was delicious. My husband got a baked potato and corn on the cob as his sides. We expected a small potato and a small chunk of corn. Nope... large baked potato the size of the plate and a full ear of corn. Macaroni and cheese is clearly homemade and delicious and while the fried pickle spears are a little floppy, they have the perfect amount of crunch and tart. Perhaps the only disappointment if you want to call it that is that the sweet tea isn't as sweet as we're used to. Would definitely recommend and if we were going to be in town longer, we would be planning to eat here again.

  • Awesome food and great service. Had to wait a few minutes because it was so busy but it was well worth the wait.

  • If I could give it three and a half stars I would. The service is good and the atmosphere is comfortable but the pricing is too high for the size of the ribs that is served. I asked the waiter if there were bigger size ribs, he took my plate and brought me back ribs that were an eighth of an inch bigger. I won't go back. The ribs I was given were the size of a ladies finger, size six...
