About Us
Main Street Barbecue is Durant’s only local, family-owned and operated restaurant with deep roots in Bryan County. We are committed to sourcing the highest quality grass-fed beef, southern fried fish, and the freshest produce we can get our hands on. Our Farm-to-Table barbecue is cooked low and slow over locally harvested pecan wood fires and combines tried and true smoking techniques as well as new ideas born from our trendy team. We are open 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. daily.

My hubby had the sliders. He tried the sausage, sliced brisket & chopped brisket. The sliced brisket was my favorite. It was so tender & juicy, the smoked flavor was abundant. I had the meatloaf, the portion was generous to say the least. It was moist, tender & smokey. The homemade mashed potatoes were a plus but the fried okra stole the show, that was made with love. We will definitely return.

They've always had good BBQ but discovered they serve breakfast several months ago. One item on the breakfast menu blew me away, now it's the only thing I'll order. The protein bowl is amazing.

Had the Rib platter. It came with two sides so I got potatoe salad and BBQ beans. I got one mild sauce and one spicy as I wasnt sure which one was better. So the beans were pretty good, but they seemed to follow the theme of sweetness that goes most of the food served here. The potato salad was again good but kind of sweet. The ribs were the best part (as they should be) they were tender and cooked just right. The taste was very good. Some of the best ribs I've had in awhile. My meal came with six ribs and two sides for 12.99, which I thought was a great barging. Especially after tasting the ribs. So if your in Durant America and have a hankering for some BBQ definitely hit this place up.

I've had Main Street BBQ before but always as takeout. Yesterday my boyfriend and I drove from Denison to Durant to pick up some metal then decided dining in at Main Street BBQ sounded like a good plan.. We were not disappointed ? The atmosphere is great, the staff is fun and the food is always on point... I'd drive from Texas any day to enjoy their greatness?

First time in Durant and wanted some barbecue. We’re from Texas where barbecue is always good. We had the three meat plate. The servings were huge. Amazing taste. We really enjoyed our meal. Definitely will return when in town!

Outstanding lunch. We really enjoyed the fish, the appetizers (green beans and fries), and the chili. But the big hit was the smoky bbq sauce. Great place to grab a meal!

Best barbecue north of McKinney Texas! I love this place. They have huge catfish fillets breaded and cook perfectly in southern cornmeal fashion! My wife and both really like the pulled pork and chopped brisket.
